Fedora 20 Will Be Released Next Week
After being pressed by repeated delays Fedora 20 "Heisenbug" has been given the go-ahead to be officially released next week.
The most recent Fedora 20 delay happened last week, but at today's Go/No-Go meeting for the next release, it was agreed upon by Fedora QA and its developers that it's all clear to be released next Tuesday, 17 December. The Fedora delays were due to outstanding blocker bugs but the developers and testers are now comfortable that everything is under control for the final release.
The "Go" approval for Fedora 20 can be found on the Fedora mailing list. There's many exciting features to Fedora 20 and I've been testing it on many systems at Phoronix to great satisfaction; there will be Fedora 20 benchmarks coming along with many other interesting articles and reviews in the weeks ahead.
