Steam's In-Home Streaming Now For Everyone, Other Improvements
Valve issued an updated Steam Linux client this week and it's landing heavy with many new features and other changes.
The Steam client beta offers many fixes, allows adding of non-Steam games directly from the Steam Big Picture mode, improves movie playback within the Steam Big Picture mode, a new profile section for Big Picture, the Steam in-home streaming feature is now available to all client beta users, there's improved OpenGL asynchronous capture performance, increased precision of refresh rate and capture frame-rate within the streaming mode, and improved Steam Music.
