WAYLAND
X.Org Foundation Board of Director member and Nouveau developer, Martin Peres, has written about the state of security within Wayland compositors.

The security topic is mostly focused around why and how to handle privileged clients within a Wayland world and comes after a long discussion on the Wayland mailing list pertaining to security.

Those interested in software security topics and Wayland can find the complete blog post on Martin's blog. (Unfortunately I haven't had the time yet to complete my reading of it due to catching a flight to the Southern California Linux Expo.)
