PHP 5.6 Is Nearly Ready For Release, RC1 Is Out
PHP 5.6 is on track for its official release this summer as a major update to PHP5 while those looking to do some pre-production testing, RC1 is now available.
PHP 5.6 brings support for constant scalar expressions, variadic functions via the ... operator, argument unpacking via ..., exponentiation via **, a phpdbg debugger, support for file uploads larger than 2GB, and a variety of other enhancements.
