DragonFlyBSD 3.8 will soon be succeeded by DragonFlyBSD 4.0. For those willing to help test, the release candidate to DragonFlyBSD 4.0.0 is now available.

DragonFlyBSD 4.0 Release Candidate 1 is now available for download from DragonFly's mirrors. With DragonFlyBSD 4.0 there's now only an x86_64 image officially available with the i386 build not being made by the DragonFlyBSD crew, but for those enticed could compile it themselves.

Unfortunately there isn't any official change-log right now for DragonFlyBSD 4.0 but you can expect to find many package updates and various kernel updates out of this release. Stay tuned for more DragonFlyBSD 4.0 information as it becomes available.
