Mesa release manager Emil Velikov announced the availability today of Mesa 12.0.5, just another point release and what he expects will be the last of the Mesa 12.0.x releases.

Mesa 12.0.5 has GLVND GLX fixes, some Intel ANV Vulkan fixes, several RadeonSI fixes, and the SWR software rasterizer should be fixed to be built against LLVM 3.7 through LLVM 3.9.

The complete list of the nearly three dozen fixes making up Mesa 12.0.5 can be found via the official release announcement.

Users of the open-source Mesa 12 drivers are now encouraged to switch to Mesa 13 for continued support -- and a heck of a lot of new OpenGL support, performance improvements, greater Vulkan support, and more. Mesa 13.0 is the current stable series while Mesa 13.1~17.0 is coming for an anticipated February release as the next big update.
