Firefox 37 Coming Today With Heartbeat, HTTPS Bing

Mozilla is today releasing Firefox 37.0 and with this open-source web-browser update comes many changes.

Among the features of Firefox 37.0 is the addition of the Heartbeat user rating system, Bing search now uses HTTPS by default, improved protection against site impersonation, and an attempt to encrypt HTTP traffic when the server supports HTTP/2 AltSvc. The Heartbeat system in Firefox is a new way for users to provide feedback to Mozilla, etc.

Firefox 37.0 also has SSL/TLS security improvements, support for a subset of the HTML5 Media Source Extensions (MSE) to support HTML5 playback on YouTube, support for new HTML5/CSS features, and various other changes.
