Phoronix Test Suite 6.2 M5 Released For Open-Source Benchmarking
As the final planned development version before the official Phoronix Test Suite 6.2 "Gamvik" release, 6.2 Milestone 5 was released this morning.
Phoronix Test Suite 6.2 Milestone 5 adds golang as a possible new PTS external dependency, there is an optimization with Phodevi for a faster start-up time, a few more Phoromatic tweaks, various Phodevi sensor clean-ups and fixes, and the MATISK module has been restored in the code-base with support for PTS6.
Changes made earlier in the Phoronix Test Suite 6.2 development cycle include a variety of small enhancements, improvements to the Phoromatic public results viewer (as seen on LinuxBenchmarking.com), and other changes.
The big addition landing concurrently with Phoronix Test Suite 6.2 is the new OpenBenchmarking.org. Since the end of January, the new OpenBenchmarking.org has been in public beta while a few more improvements and features are still pending.
Phoronix Test Suite 6.2.0 and the new OpenBenchmarking.org should be officially christened within the next two weeks. You can download this final Gamvik development milestone from Phoronix-Test-Suite.com or Phoronix-Test-Suite on GitHub.
