RASPBERRY PI
After the Raspberry Pi 5 was excitingly announced a few weeks ago, Eben Upton shared today that ramping up the production has gone better than initially anticipated and that these AArch64 single board computers are beginning to ship to customers.

Those that had pre-ordered the Raspberry Pi 5 as subscribers to The MagPi and HackSpace magazines will see all of their orders ship before the end of this week. Every approved reseller of the Raspberry Pi in countries where all of the Raspberry Pi 5 compliance paperwork is complete will also see initial stocks of the RPi5 4GB and 8GB boards this week.

The production rate continues to ramp up and by the end of the 2023 calendar year they anticipate it being very easy to buy a Raspberry Pi 5 from any approved reseller with ease.

No numbers on their current production rates of the Raspberry Pi 5 were shared, but they seem to be making good progress in their production ramp. More details over on the RaspberryPi.com blog.
