UBUNTU
The UBports community continuing to maintain Ubuntu Touch for running this Linux distribution on smartphones and tablets is out with OTA-24 as their newest over-the-air update.

Ubuntu Touch OTA-24 continues supporting a wide variety of devices from ASUS, BQ, Google, LG, OnePlus, Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, and other vendors. Ubuntu Touch OTA-24 continues to be powered by the aging Ubuntu 16.04 LTS base... The transition to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS unfortunately remains ongoing. They do intend OTA-24 to be the last major feature update off the 16.04 LTS base while in OTA-25 will be mostly focused on fixes. Hopefully it won't take too much longer before they can finally transition to the much more modern Ubuntu 20.04 LTS base.

Ubuntu Touch OTA-24 does provide initial gesture support with double-tap to wake for selected devices, handling of the "sms://" URL scheme, 1080p video support for Aethercast, fixes to the messaging app, media buttons on headsets now working for most devices, performance tweaks, and a variety of other fixes and enhancements.
