Wine 2.0-rc2 Released, Fixes 20 Bugs
One week after going into a code freeze and releasing Wine 2.0-rc1, the second release candidate is now available.
Wine 2.0-rc2 fixes 20 known bugs in the past week, including a number of changes to the Direct3D code. Those interested in a complete list of fixes to see if any bugs you may be impacted by are addressed, visit WineHQ.org.
If you are still running Wine 1.8 stable, read about the Wine 2.0 feature overview. Weekly release candidates of Wine 2.0 will continue until it's officially released later this month or in January. Wine 2.0 is the project's first release under an annual, time-based release strategy.
