Xfce 4.12 Released After Nearly Three Years Of Work
Xfce 4.12 has finally been released!
The Xfce development team announced the release of Xfce 4.12 with updates to the respective core components. This successor to Xfce 4.10 comes after two years and ten months of work, much longer than was originally anticipated.
The features of Xfce 4.12 are exciting as previously covered on Phoronix. Some of the other highlights beyond what was shared in that article include a HiDPI Xffwm theme, Xfburn can burn BluRay discs, the Mousepad text editor was totally rewritten, the clipboard manager plugin optionally displays a QR code, varying levels of GTK3 support throughout the Xfce components, etc.
