The AMD Ryzen 5 4500U / Ryzen 7 4700U Against Intel With 141 Benchmarks

If you just care about the highest level look at all the results, here is the geometric mean of all 141 benchmarks conducted... With this wide span of results, the Ryzen 7 4700U ends virtually tied with the Core i7 9740H. That is in raw performance but between the Ryzen 7 4700U keep in mind it has a 15 Watt TDP to the 9750H at 45 Watts, the Radeon Vega graphics are much faster than Intel Gen9 graphics, and the Ryzen 7 4700U was running within a $816 USD laptop while the 9750H within a two thousand dollar laptop. The Core i7 9750H meanwhile was faster than the Ryzen 5 4500U by less than 10% overall. The Ryzen 5 4500U, tested within a $599 laptop, was 27% faster in these tests than the Core i7 8565U found in the Dell XPS.
