This year Asus has also released a few new boards and features. The new motherboards now feature Asus StackCool 2 technology. This allows the heat to escape from the back of the board through the extended solder points on the board. Also their new motherboards have native support for DDR2-800. Apparently the engineers of Abit had solved their memory bandwidth problems, and now it is no problem to have DDR2 running so fast.

Asus has also released a heatsink setup that is very close to the Abit Q-OTES solution. It is basically a heatsink that runs to a radiator sitting by the CPU.

Asus has also launched some pretty cool looking cases.
