First up was the BioShock Infinite benchmark as one of the mature Linux game ports. The Radeon RX Vega 64 with the latest RadeonSI code is running between the GTX 1070 and GTX 1070 Ti while the RX Vega 56 is coming up just short. The RX 580 and GTX 1060 are performing about the same speed in this game as expected.

With Deus Ex: Mankind Divided it remains one of the most demanding Linux OpenGL games, but fortunately RadeonSI is running well. The RX Vega 64 is running ahead of the GTX 1070 Ti and the RX 580 well ahead of the GTX 1060 as the notable comparison points.

Dota 2 at 2560 x 1440 is CPU bound on this Intel Coffee Lake system, but was included with Dota 2 for showing OpenGL vs. Vulkan in this context. With OpenGL the NVIDIA vs. AMD performance is about the same in this scenario, but using Vulkan the RADV driver is still leading to lower frame-rates. The NVIDIA OpenGL vs. Vulkan frame-rates were roughly the same during testing, actually leaning towards a few frames better with Vulkan.
