Examination:

Taking a good look at this LGA775 cooler, it very much stuck to the standards set by the reference stock Intel HSF, of course with a few minor alterations. Appearance wise, the Ultra Products P4 Socket 775 HSF closely mirrored the CoolJag JAC84MC, Thermaltake TR2-M13, and Akasa AK-954D.

On top of the actual heatsink is an Ultra Products fan rated for 63.5CFM @ 48.51dBA. However, of course the fan supports a 4-pin connector with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) support, which should hopefully adjust the fan speed accordingly for the right mix of airflow to noise ratio. Underneath the fan is a series of aluminum fins mounted in a radial fashion, which in turn are all connected to the copper base. Evenly distributed around this heatsink are the four spring-enforced screws, which are used to attach to the mounting plate.

Flipping over this heatsink, the copper base was relatively free of any damage. There were a few scuffmarks in some areas but it appeared to be flat to the human eye and using our traditional golf ball experiment, it still had a nice shine to the surface. Overall this heatsink was quite similar to the Intel stock LGA775 heatsink, except for its mounting method. Nevertheless, everything appeared to be in relatively great condition.
