Performance:

Experiencing overwhelming success with similar GearGrip CaseAce products in the past, we expected equal results with the GearGrip LCD Shield Harness. The LCD we went with for testing the capabilities was a recently reviewed Acer AL1714CB-8 17" LCD Monitor. When setting everything up we experienced absolutely no difficulties. However, we would like to stress just how important it is that the two 1.5" straps need to be extremely tight to reduce the possibility that the LCD can shake loose. As for the CableGrip Cable Manager, we had no troubles using it to secure our VGA analog cable. With the mesh compartment, we used it to store our external AC/DC power supply in addition to a few VGA/DVI dongles to simply show the amount of room provided by this nifty compartment.

When using the GearGrip LCD Shield Harness to transport our Acer monitor to two separate LAN parties, we experienced absolutely no troubles in setting up the harness, dismantling the harness, or experiencing any damage to the display. Through using this LCD harness, it was MUCH easier to transport the display to different locations, in addition to the added protection. Furthermore, by combining the LCD harness with other of GearGrip products it can lead to a very user-friendly experience.

Conclusion:

What else must we say? The LCD Shield Harness is yet another fabulous product from the folks at CaseAce GearGrip. The product not only makes it easier to transport the computer due to the premium soft grip handle, but the multi-layered shield construct protects the fragile LCD display greatly, and lastly but not least the CableGrip Cable Manager and mesh compartment make it a breeze to store computing accessories. This product is yet another lifesaver for anyone who is continually on the road with his or her computer.
