Conclusion:

Recapping our results, while at stock speeds the DDR2 memory did perform moderately for its speeds and timings of 533MHz 4-4-4-11. While compared against the Kingmax Mars DDR2 modules, which were clocked to identical timings and speeds as the Transcend DDR2-533 DIMMs, we barely noticed any difference between the two brands as both sets used similar Elpida ICs; with the only time where there was a clear change was with the synthetic RAMspeed test as the Mars had a few megabyte advantage. Although we were unable to reach any breakneck speeds with this Transcend TS64MLQ64V5J product, the ASRock motherboard was partially at fault due to its lack of worthy voltage adjustments and SATA controller conflicts while running at different FSB frequencies, but this is also to keep in mind that a portion of hobbyists stay clear from altering their voltages and aren't after any extreme overclock. With a going price between $120-140 USD, the price of DDR2 modules has certainly dropped since its premiere but still these Transcend DDR2-533 PC2-4200 modules remain much cheaper than its high-end competitors.
