Linux Scaling Benchmarks With The AMD Threadripper 2990WX In Various Workloads
IndigoBench was scaling well up through 64 threads on Linux. Understandably going from 32 cores/threads to 64 threads via SMT doesn't provide anything close to a linear increase, but it's still a very sizable increase -- at least under Linux.
In the case pf the NAS Parallel Benchmarks with its embarrassingly parallel synthetic test, it was getting close to linear scaling up to 64 threads.
John The Ripper for crypto benchmarking was scaling quite nicely on Ubuntu with the Linux 4.18 kernel up through 64 threads in its stock configuration.
The chess engine benchmarks also perform quite well.
