DeviceVM has also added in support for creating a desktop theme within SplashTop, which can contain an updated window color palette and a different background.

Finally yet importantly, we had seen the Pidgin IM client loaded within SplashTop.

This unreleased ASUS laptop also has an integrated web camera, which will hopefully work within SplashTop. DeviceVM engineers are currently working on web camera support within SplashTop and may be integrated into their custom photo manager.

Pardon the poor screen captures, though we'll have more on this updated version of SplashTop once it ships. This release also had some other minor changes, such as being able to browse remote media through a graphical file manager. At this time, it's not known by DeviceVM whether these new features will be available to those with SplashTop-loaded motherboards but may just be available to those with these upcoming products. While this is a very nice update for SplashTop, the DeviceVM engineers still have more features in the works that we’ll hopefully see later this year.
