The Impact Of The CPU Frequency Scaling Governor On AMD Threadripper 2990WX Linux Performance
In the GraphicsMagick tests, the only difference was with powersave that led to slower speeds.
With the kernel compilation test, there wasn't any difference in the performance resulting from changing the CPU frequency scaling governor besides powersave continuing to be the outlier.
With the larger workload of compiling LLVM, interestingly the schedutil and conservative options led to slightly quicker build times over ondemand but performance was still the fastest and powersave by far the slowest.
