The AMD performance gains made from 1st Gen EPYC "Naples" to 4th Gen EPYC "Genoa" over the past five years is nothing short of incredible. Throughout all workloads there was massive uplift and the EPYC 9374F at half the core/thread count of the EPYC 7601 2P configuration usually outpacing the flagship Naples configuration. When hitting AVX-512 workloads is where Genoa goes bonkers with performance in delivering massive performance gains -- even generationally over Milan as shown in my prior benchmark articles.
