Deus Ex: Mankind Divided remains one of the most demanding OpenGL Linux-native games. From this 1080p run it still seems that there is more Navi 14 tweaking that could be done to RadeonSI with here the RX 5500 XT 4GB card performing shy of the RX 570 and running just ahead of the GTX 1650, not the GTX 1650 SUPER where it should be competing.

But even with the performance coming up short, the performance-per-Watt still speaks volumes with the RX 5500 XT coming well ahead of the RX 500 Polaris series and obviously even more so for older RX 400 Polaris cards. But with Deus Ex: MD, the NVIDIA Pascal and Turing GPUs still delivered better performance-per-Watt.

With the F1 2017 Vulkan-powered Linux racing game and the last of the F1 series that is Linux-native, the RX 5500 XT performance pulled in right behind the RX 580/590 and GTX 1650 SUPER. This game was easily playable on the RX 500 XT at 1080p with high quality visuals.

For F1 2017, the performance-per-Watt with the RX 5500 XT continued to be a big win over the earlier Polaris cards and in fact beating out NVIDIA's consumer offerings. For this F1 2017 run, the RX 5500 XT delivered the best performance-per-Watt.

F1 2017 with ultra high quality settings at 1080p was still playable on this $169 Navi graphics card while delivering great power efficiency.
