Radeon RX 6800 Series Linux Performance Nearly Three Months After Launch
Basemark was enjoying faster performance on all of the tested graphics cards, especially the new RDNA 2 hardware.
Even the VkFFT compute benchmark was seeing slightly better performance on this updated software stack.
The updated open-source Linux drivers also yielded higher Geekbench 5 Vulkan performance compared to launch day.
Over the past three months the open-source Radeon Linux graphics driver performance has matured nicely not only for the Radeon RX 6800 series but the Radeon RX 5700 XT and Radeon VII graphics cards also enjoyed better performance on this bleeding-edge software stack too.
