First up is a look at the Ryzen 7 5700G graphics performance under Linux against Intel's Core i5 11600K and prior Core i5 10600K (unfortunately lacking any prior generation 4700G). Ubuntu 21.04 was used across the test systems with the Linux 5.11 kernel and Mesa 21.3-devel from 14 August using the Oibaf PPA.

Similar to under Windows, the Ryzen 7 5700G desktop APU is great on the Radeon graphics side and easily exceeds the Xe Graphics found with the Core i5 11600K and obviously even more of an upgrade from the Gen9 graphics with the Core i5 10600K.

From the initial testing of the Ryzen 7 5700G Radeon graphics under Linux, it's been working out well with the open-source driver stack assuming you are using any Linux distribution from this year but, of course, the newer the Mesa especially will lead to feature and performance benefits.
