AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U Linux Performance
When it comes to multi-threaded creator workloads, the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U of course performs very well with its eight Zen 3 cores (16 threads) while the i7-1165G7 has just 4c/8t.
In less thread happy workloads like the GIMP imaging progra, the Tiger Lake processor did have some leads over the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U.
But even in these cases under Linux the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U continued pulling less power than the i7-1165G7.
