LuxMark is an OpenCL benchmark that historically has done well with the Radeon GPUs and the closed-source OpenCL driver. This is no different today with the RX Vega cards here even coming out ahead of the GTX 1080 Ti. The RX 580 also remains stronger than the GTX 1060.

Those wishing to see how your own Linux system(s) OpenCL performance compares to this hardware/drivers can install the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1710264-AL-OPENCLNEW66.
