There were near-linear performance improvements in some of the system benchmarks when scaling up to DDR3-2400MHz but for other benchmarks we saw the performance plateau at DDR3-2133MHz. DDR3-2400MHz memory is still noticeably more expensive than DDR3-2133MHz memory so it really comes down to your particular workload in seeing if its worthwhile and the extra memory bandwidth can be utilized.

In terms of the Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB DDR3-2400MHz Kit (KHX24C11T3K2/8X) memory kit that was used, it retails for $110 USD and so far it is running smooth on the A10-7850K Kaveri system and without any faults.
