Overall, there are not many performance changes to see with this range of tests when comparing GCC 4.8.2 stable to GCC 4.9 in its current development form. At least there are no significant regressions and the GCC 4.9 release will bring with it many new compiler and language features. Coming up shortly will be fresh LLVM Clang compiler benchmarks tossed into the mix from this A10-7850K APU system running Ubuntu Linux.
