Dota 2 OpenGL is also significantly faster with RadeonSI over AMDGPU-PRO 17.50... Here with the RX Vega 64 the open-source OpenGL code is 42% faster.

But now getting some Vulkan coverage is where AMDGPU-PRO still has its advantages with the soon-to-be-opened Vulkan driver. The AMDGPU-PRO 17.50 Vulkan driver is measurably faster than the current RADV driver as available right now with Mesa 17.4-dev.

Mad Max's OpenGL performance was much faster using RadeonSI than AMDGPU-PRO 17.50 on the tested cards. In some of the scenes, the RadeonSI performance is very competitive with NVIDIA's binary driver.
