The Radeon HD 7950 GCN 1.0 part could handle Rise of the Tomb Raider surprisingly well at 1080p with the lowest quality settings, a nice feat for the open-source RADV Vulkan stack. This is another game where the RX Vega 64 was just running in line with the GTX 1070, but the RX 580 Polaris performance was quite strong relative to the GeForce GTX 1060.

At 1080p with high quality settings for this recent Feral Interactive Linux game port, the GTX 1060 . RX 580 and better continue running great. These results though are another example of AMDGPU+RADV having room to mature with the RX 580 running about the same speed as the R9 Fury (Fiji) and the RX Vega parts not being too much faster -- and those Vega parts still coming up short of the GTX 1070.
