There's some very nice performance gains with Ubuntu 23.10 over Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, which already was in good shape for Ampere Altra platforms.

The Ampere Altra Max power consumption remained similar on average but under Ubuntu 23.10 there continued to be lower CPU power consumption minimums than on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
