There isn't much change out of the multimedia encoding test cases.

While it's not found in the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" repository, upgrading to GCC 4.7 from GCC 4.6 is an easy upgrade that for many computational test cases can yield a worthwhile performance improvement -- albeit it may not be regression free -- on ARM and x86. Stay tuned for more ARM Cortex-A15 benchmarks coming up shortly, including a look at the Samsung Exynos 5 Dual performance under various compiler flags/optimizations and seeing how well LLVM/Clang and other compilers are fairing on this new ARMv7 chip that will become much more popular as time progresses.
