Btrfs' SSD mode was finally faster when it came to using 12 clients with Dbench. Mounting the Btrfs root file-system with the defaults had an average speed of 49MB/s but with the defaults and SSD option it was at an impressive 89MB/s, which is nearly doubled.

When increasing the client count to 128, the performance in the SSD mode had dropped but with strictly the defaults mode it had picked up speed.

With the Flexible IO Tester, the SSD mode was dramatically slower than without this mount option.
