Overall, there isn't much to see out of ARMv7 Linux performance between GCC 4.6 and GCC 4.7 and the recent GCC 4.8 development snapshot. At least though there isn't any heavy regressions overall and the GNU Compiler Collection continues moving forward with many features, including initial ARM 64-bit support (AArch64).
