When it came to the Firefox 96 performance across the tested distributions using their distribution-supplied packages, Clear Linux and openSUSE Tumbleweed were notably faster than the other three Linux distributions on this Celeron G6900 Alder Lake system.
Google Chrome 97 on all the distributions tended to see less of a performance difference, but at least in the case of the demanding JetStream 2 benchmark it did enjoy a performance bump on Clear Linux.
