Firefox tended to lead in the WebAssembly benchmarks with the sole exception of the WASM collision detection test.

The Firefox 76 through Firefox 78 performance was basically flat. While Chrome generally had a large advantage over Firefox in the JavaScript-heavy benchmarks, thanks to a strong showing from Firefox in the WebAssembly tests in particular and StyleBench, the geometric mean of all these benchmark results actually put Firefox slightly ahead of Chrome with these particular benchmarks on the Intel Core i9 10900K + Radeon RX 5700 XT platform under Linux. The Firefox performance could have come out even better in the heavy DOM tests if WebRender had been playing nicely.
