With the lowest image quality settings at 4K, the results were still rather CPU bound. With that said, between 1080p and 4K the results were close to the same on the majority of GPUs tested. Only on the cards where they had less video memory were they impacted by moving from 1080p to 4K.

With the highest quality settings at 4K, the GeForce GTX 1070/1080 were still close to their highest 1080p results at around 43 FPS while the slower cards did drop off with this demanding benchmark configuration.

So yes, this is quite a demanding Linux game, but keep in mind this built-in benchmark mode is on the demanding side and so the actual gameplay should be faster for the most part. Still though looking at these results are somewhat concerning, but we'll see in the weeks ahead if Aspyr Media is able to release patches to squeeze greater Linux OpenGL performance out of this latest AAA Linux game.

Stay tuned for the Mesa/Gallium3D tests up next, but only NVIDIA graphics are currently advertised as supported for this game by Aspyr Media.
