Both the Embree path-tracer and the ISPC-optimized version enjoyed nice speed-ups with Embree 4.0 release binaries compared to the performance on the prior stable Embree 3.13 series. Very healthy improvements considering Embree 3.x already had AVX-512 support and already has been extensively tuned for years to enjoy optimal ray-tracing performance on Intel Xeon Scalable servers. Considering the main focus of Embree 4.0 is on SYCL GPU support, it was great seeing some nice gains on the CPU side too.
