Dota 2 with both OpenGL and Vulkan is seeing similar performance under (X)Wayland and the original X.Org session.

In some cases the X.Org performance is still a few frames faster, but nearly as bad as it used to be when there was greater overhead to XWayland, some performance issues addressed in the Mutter compositor, etc.
