Fedora 38 Beta Performance Mostly Flat, Few Regressions
Outside of the AMD gaming/graphics issue, most of the other Fedora 38 Beta benchmarks tended to be "boring", which is a good thing in at least no big-time regressions elsewhere. With Fedora 37 upgraded to Linux 6.1 at the moment and soon on 6.2 anyhow, there isn't a big kernel leap moving to Fedora 38 compared to other Linux distribution releases.
Even for the workloads built from source, Fedora 38 with GCC 13 wasn't yielding any major performance changes compared to GCC 12 with Fedora 37.
