GCC vs. Clang Compiler Benchmarking On Intel's Skylake CPU

There was no big difference for Clang vs. GCC in some audio encoding benchmarks.

Clang on the Core i5 Skylake system came up short of GCC for the HINT benchmark.

The Apache web-server performance came out at basically the same speed between GCC and Clang.

Well, those are the initial compiler benchmarks to share from Intel Skylake on Linux today. As always, there's daily performance-tracking benchmarks done of the newest GCC code and latest LLVM code done over at LinuxBenchmarking.com.
