Starting things off with 1080p and low quality visuals, Hitman 2 running under Steam Play could deliver above 60 FPS averages when using the Radeon R9 290 (when using the AMDGPU driver for RADV support) or GeForce GTX 1060 and faster. It was nice to see the RX 580/590 performing well in front of the GeForce GTX 1060 and the Radeon RX Vega 64 performing almost to the speed of the GTX 1080, something that long ago wasn't possible for Linux gaming.

When upping the game to medium quality settings and maintaining the 1080p resolution, the GTX 1060 and GTX 980 were now dipping below the 60 FPS average while the GTX 1660 was still in good shape as well as the RX 580. The RX 590 was nearly tied with the GTX 1070 while the RX Vega 64 was a frame ahead of the GTX 1080.

At 1080p with ultra quality visuals, the Radeon RX Vega 64 on RADV continued competing with the GeForce GTX 1080 / RTX 2070 while the RX 590 still was nearly matching the GTX 1070 on Linux.
