In some of the tests Clear Linux boasted a slight advantage due to its more aggressive compiler defaults.

Ubuntu 22.04 and Pop!_OS 22.04 with their GCC 11 stock compiler were yielding the fastest build times.

In some workloads like OSPRay Studio, Fedora Workstation 36 was noticeably slower than the rest.

Fedora Workstation 36's slow performance was also found to be the case in the Perl benchmarks.

Odd with the cases where Fedora Workstation was performing noticeably slower than the other Linux distributions was that its power consumption was much higher too, showing much higher CPU temperatures as well.
