With all five Linux distributions using the GCC 4.9 compiler and the 3.16~3.18 kernels with Intel P-State scaling driver, there wasn't a huge variation in the CPU-bound benchmarks.

These benbchmarks are still worth posting though considering the continual flow of Phoronix readers that say XYZ distribution should be used at Phoronix since it's "so much faster" than Ubuntu or Fedora, etc.

There you have it... More benchmarks can be found via this OpenBenchmarking.org result file. As mentioned earlier, if there's other Linux distributions you'd like to see as part of this comparison, post away in the forums.
