Can't test modern CPUs these days without a bit of Caffe fun.

The Core i7 7700K also does well with the Darktable photography workflow software.

For those curious about the OpenCL performance for the HD Graphics 630 under Linux can see yesterday's Beignet OpenCL Linux testing (https://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=24089) that included the i7-7700K.

These were my initial Core i7 7700K benchmarks to share today. Stay tuned for more tests, plus of the other Kabylake CPUs, as well as power consumption and perf-per-Watt results. If you want to see how your own Linux system(s) performance compares to the results in this article, it's a simple matter of installing the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1701295-RI-INTELKABY17.

Those interested in the Core i7 7700K can find it in stock at NewEgg and Amazon for $350 USD.
