Intel Core i7 8700K Linux Benchmarks

With the TTSIOD 3D renderer, the Core i7 8700K was 12% faster than the Ryzen 7 1800X.

The i7-8700K was 8% faster than the 1800X with the x264 video encoding benchmark.

While in the Assembly-written asmFish chess benchmark, the Core i7 8700K was running between the two high-end Ryzen 7 desktop CPUs.

The Intel Core i7 CPUs were running faster than the Ryzen 7 CPUs when it came to timed code compilation with GCC.

While in the C-Ray multi-threaded ray-tracer, the Core i7 8700K lost to the Ryzen 7 1700 as in this test the outright core/thread count matters the most.
