Intel Compute Stick Performance Surprises Under Ubuntu Linux
The $150 Intel Compute Stick performance with Atom Z3735F SoC was performing around the same speed as its Bay Trail sibling, the Intel Celeron N2820 NUC, for the Tesseract benchmark. However, the results delivered by these low-power systems is far from being playable.
With the Xonotic first person shooter, at 1080p and low quality settings the Compute Stick had a rough time sticking above 30 FPS.
With the synthetic tests from GpuTest, the Z3735F was slower than the Bay Trail N2820.
Next up are the CPU benchmarks.
