Intel Provides AI-Accelerated HPC Update For ISC 2023
We continue to be very fond of Intel's open-source and open standards software efforts.
Intel continues being one of the largest contributors to the open-source and Linux software ecosystems.
While missing out on this week's TOP500 list, Intel did announce they have delivered more than ten thousand blades for the Aurora supercomputer that aims for greater than two Exaflops of compute power.
Intel did confirm today more of the Aurora specs including 21,248 CPUs and 63,744 GPUs across 10,624 nodes. Aurora has 10.9PB of DDR memory capacity and 1.36PB of HBM CPU capacity via Xeon Max processors.
Those are the main areas of interest for Intel's disclosures at ISC2023 in Hamburg.
