Intel Xeon Skylake Compilers: Clang Showing Strong Performance Against GCC
Clang 3.8 SVN comes in right in line with GCC 5.2.1 for the TTSIOD 3D renderer, albeit it looks like GCC 6.0 is trying to push the performance a bit further.
Clang 3.8 was lagging behind the GNU Compiler Collection for the Hiemno poisson pressure solver.
No big differences with regard to the 7-Zip compression performance on the different compilers.
